The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the customer marketing strategy and customer engagement programmes to build exceptional and long-lasting customer relationships.
As well as being a key member of the marketing team, the role involves working directly with our account management and customer success teams to drive customer advocacy and retention. In addition, you will identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell our product offering to existing customers, ensuring we continue to receive excellent customer satisfaction and retention scores.
This position can be based in either the UK or Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To design and deliver successful end-to-end customer marketing campaigns, in order to create long-lasting and collaborative relationships with key customers
- Develop reporting structures to track, analyse and improve the performance and success of customer marketing campaigns
- Grow our customer advocacy programmes, designed to turn our satisfied customers into genuine brand champions, willing and able to help us spread the word about the benefits of our product to prospective customers
- Interrogate our customer data to identify opportunities for referrals, as well as the potential to up- and cross-sell our services to existing customers
- Build meaningful and collaborative relationships with customers, meaning you can act as the voice of the customer when planning and executing key activities carried out by the marketing team and other functions of the business
- Support our product marketing and partnership teams in the creation and delivery of customer marketing campaigns and assets to promote new product features and enhancement
- Support AccountsIQ colleagues and contacts from other organisations who will be working directly with you to develop and execute customer marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a customer marketing role, ideally within a tech, SaaS or finance environment
- Excellent analytical skills, a good understanding of customer and engagement data and how to interpret it and use it to formulate successful marketing campaigns
- A strong understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle marketing
- First class project management skills including the ability to plan, prioritise and execute tasks, recognise key milestones, as well as managing suppliers and campaign metrics
- Creative thinker that can develop and execute innovative campaign ideas
- Robust understanding of the different marketing channels and functions and how they can be combined to form successful campaigns and generate excellent engagement and results
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot are highly desirable
- A 'can do' attitude and drive to succeed, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at once whilst working to tight timeframes
- A strong sense of team spirit, able to work independently but also to collaborate and feed off the ideas and contribution of others.
