About the role
Butlin's is the home of entertainment! To make that happen, we have an incredible Entertainment team on resort and we're looking for a Support Stage Manager to join them! The Support Stage Manager will help to oversee the consistent smooth running of the technical entertainment delivery, including coordinating the LX/AV, Sound and Stage teams that sit within it. You will support with leading and coordinating training for the team to ensure all product is delivered as directed and produced. You'll be responsible for maintain, cleaning and stocking of all technical areas including props, sets, pyrotechnics, dressing rooms and artiste support materials. You'll support the Stage Manager with scheduling to ensure right people are in the right place at the right time! You'll maintain strict health and safety procedures, both on and off stage, including completion of all checks and recording. You'll support with the ongoing development of a robust cover programme for the operation of shows, and help to create succession planning for technical team development in all fields.
About You
We're looking for candidates who've got a passion for delivering high quality entertainment! You should be innovative with an ability to identify areas for improvement and implement ways to enhance processes and increase knowledge, skills and experiences within the team. You should have a keen eye for detail, always ensuring the area is adhering to all company procedures, best practises and brand guidelines. Having experience in this area is essential, alongside the flexibility to work across all of our Family breaks, Big Weekenders and Conferences.
2 years stage managerial experience is required.
