Scope of the role:

  • Lead the supply planning team - coach & develop; improve process & systems.
  • Ensure inventory, service and waste are within targets; and orders are placed in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
  • Reassess stock holding policies balancing service, waste, cash & product switchovers.
  • Drive the accurate and timely completion of month end stock reconciliation & stock valuation.
  • Improve supply inputs into the S&OP process. Develop S&OP to provide excellent cross-functional communication & information sharing.
  • Work with procurement & NPD to ensure supply chain efficiency is maintained or improved on all new product launches.
  • Lead inventory scenario planning on new & delisting products.
  • Work with Head of Procurement on supplier management - analyse supplier performance & ensure short & medium term production capacity is available.
  • Help develop strategic relationships with key suppliers & agree measures to improve where suppliers are failing.
  • Anticipate team workload challenges as different suppliers & categories grow.
