Supply Chain Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join our network, based out of one of our North West Distribution Centres.

As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, development, and execution of key supply chain and distribution projects, ensuring initiatives align with business goals and drive continuous improvement within our operations.

This role will focus on program management, working collaboratively to ensure all DC projects are up-to-date and effectively delivered, as well as ensuring the senior leadership are engaged & informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project and program plans, timelines, and resources for Distribution Centre (DC) initiatives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proposing solutions proactively.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring project deliverables align with business objectives and support operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on project and program progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project requirements are clearly defined and all deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
  • Manage project scope, utilizing change control processes to handle adjustments effectively.
  • Facilitate effective communication across project teams, stakeholders, and sponsors, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and DC operations.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience in project/program management, ideally within a Distribution Centre/Supply Chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience managing supply chain, logistics, or DC projects, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver results.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
