The regional supply chain planning department defines and controls inventory levels to support customer demand whilst achieving company, regional, global and individual metrics and objectives.

As a Supply Chain Planner you will manage the planning and logistics of inbound products from international destinations. You will be accountable for a defined product portfolio, ensuring that supply meets forecast demand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage suppliers and logistics providers, building successful business relationships to achieve company objectives.
• Management of incoming supply including tracking, prioritizing and expediting shipments, able to negotiate to prioritise or delay deliveries to best match operational efficiencies and customer demand.
• Placement and management of purchase orders
• Managing inventory / safety stock levels
• Supporting new product implementation and minimizing EOL risks
• Maintain item master database
• Meeting company, regional, global and individual defined metrics:
• On Time Shipment to original promise date and customer request date
• IQR (inventory Quality Ratio) / Excess & Obsolescence
• Inventory turns/value
• Forecast accuracy
• Freight method utilization
• Close cooperation with other business functions to include but not limited to sales, finance and marketing to mitigate constraints, resolve any discrepancies or escalations.
• Actively participate in cross regional planning meetings and support implementation of global process initiatives.
• Assisting other planning members and provide coverage during absence as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with demand, supply planning or logistics; ideally within a multinational company.
• Experience of managing external suppliers and/or logistic providers.
• Excellent PC skills, MS Excel intermediate to advance with the ability to consolidate and analyse complex information.
• Advanced English - verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sustain meticulous attention to detail, and to work without supervision.
• Ability to exercise initiative and take ownership.
• Understands the importance of deadlines, meeting commitments, prioritization and completing daily workloads.
