Supply Chain Manager
Department: Operations: Lindal
Reports to: Operations Director
Purpose of Role: Ensuring that the business meets customer demand efficiently, cost-effectively, and reliably.
Main Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning: Develop and improve forecasts using data and market insights; lead S&OP to align production and inventory plans; analyse trends and recommend improvements.
- Production Planning: Create and maintain production schedules; optimise operations and capacity; monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
- Procurement & Supplier Management: Source materials and services; negotiate contracts; onboard and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Operations: Optimise inventory levels; manage replenishment and safety stock; coordinate logistics and production to ensure smooth operations.
- Data, Systems & Reporting: Use ERP/MRP systems for planning; track KPIs; drive automation and process improvements.
Supply Chain Manager Requirements:
- Strong analytical, organisational and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in demand planning, production scheduling, procurement, and supply chain operations.
