Role Purpose:

As the Commercial Supply Chain Manager at STADA, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations for our commercial products. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and seamless supply chain processes, driving operational excellence, and contributing to the overall performance of the business. Your role will be focussed on the medium to long-term planning horizon whilst managing a team of Commercial Supply Chain Channel Leads and Planners ensuring execution of the shorter term objectives.

This role is key in supporting the delivery of our strategic vision of Caring for People as a Trusted Partner. On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Leadership: Lead a team of commercial supply chain channel leads, providing guidance, and support to ensure optimal team performance and professional development
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company's commercial objectives alongside the Commercial Supply Chain Director - UK
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Partner with ESO leadership and external partners to ensure reliable and agile supply of products
  • Demand Forecasting and Planning: Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning activities to optimize product availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize lead times
  • Sales & Operations Planning process: To lead the UK S&OP process, aligning commercial, supply and finance feeding into the Regional and Global S&OP
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, production, and finance to align supply chain activities with commercial goals. Establish effective working relationships with the Global Supply Chain and be an active member of the community to support standardisation across the STADA SC network
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage supply chain risks effectively to mitigate potential disruption to customers, consumers and patients
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and deliver against supply chain KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior management
  • Master Data: To be a master data owner for commercial supply chain master data. Manage and support the life cycle process owners for all SKUs from NPD/NPL through to product withdrawal

  • Minimum five years experience leading a Supply Chain team in FMCG and\or pharmaceutical
  • Ideally degree qualified
  • Experience of SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Experience of Sales & Operations Planning or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Experience of working with internal and contract manufacturing (CMO) supply
