• They are looking for a supply chain manager with some import export experience to join the business in a newly created role. Looking after a small team

Hybrid role

• You will be responsible for the leadership of the import/export team, responsible for managing the flow of export and import documentation for all international shipments. You will be
• Working closely with other departments including buying, quality assurance, finance and our international operations and merchandising teams.

• This will include effective liaison and external communication with freight forwarders, international partners and other relevant export bodies.
• You will be a commercially aware individual who has previous experience in a relevant import / export role with the ability to quickly gain a good understanding of systems and processes as well as strong communication skills.

You will need to combine your commercial knowledge and awareness of our international operations with a natural ability to build working relationships as we support the continued growth of our international division.

1. Minimum of 5 year's experience in a Supply Chain Manager role (With some Import/Export exp.
2. Working knowledge of current UK customs export import documentation requirements and import and export to the EU.
3. Commercially aware
4. Experience people manager - ensuring team are motivated and developing themselves to deliver great customer service
