Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Team Leadership - Manage a team of up to 5 B7 Supply Logistics Agents & Line Support B9s
- Vendor Management -Management & governance of up to 50 Vendors
- Oversight and governance of supplier performance team and vendors to ensure on time in full delivery of parts.
- Ensure purchase orders are placed by the team to agreed lead time.
- To manage and be accountable for supplier recovery if they deviate from plan and develop RCCA when suppliers do deviate.
- To manage Purchase Order (PO) costs regarding any ATS process PO price reduction, manage and agree any expedite costs and charge back to vendor where appropriate.
- Engage with the Global Sourcing regarding claim back costs if incurred regarding supplier lateness.
- Manage team to work to agreed policies and procedures regarding PO placement and supplier management.
- Ensure PO management is agreed and approved buffer levels regarding to working capital.

Qualifications
Candidate Requirements
It is the responsibility of applicants to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate they meet essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
Essential:
- Graduate or equivalent qualifications and 3 years relevant experience within Supply Chain OR HNC with 5 years relevant experience within Supply Chain. Alternatively, lessor qualified candidates who have at least 6 years relevant experience within Supply Chain will also be considered.
- Experience of working with external vendors, operations, methods, engineering & program regarding business practices to optimise business performance.
- Good understanding of MRP & PO placement and vendor management.
- Excellent working knowledge of Maxim & other Spirit systems.
- Excellent communications skills both verbally and in written form and be able to represent Spirt AeroSystems in a professional manner when dealing with external vendors, internal customers, and external customers.
- Attention to detail re multiple POs and exceptions, MRP management and audits.
- Well-developed IT skills, notably Excel .
- Good project management skills and organisational skills in order to manage and deliver multiple tasks from multiple vendors.
- Ability to operate at all levels of the organisation.
- People management skills & team leadership.
