The Role
This hybrid role combines administrative support with hands-on fieldwork, providing essential assistance to the Project Manager while also participating in water sampling activities. The successful candidate will help coordinate sampling schedules, manage customer communications, and collect water samples from various locations to ensure compliance with environmental standards. This position offers a balance between office-based responsibilities and on-site technical work, often requiring work outdoors in all weather conditions and the ability to drive a van to sampling sites.
Hours Per Week: 37
Days Per Week: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time & Permanent

The day to day
- Provide daily administrative support to the UWW & OSM Project Manager, including scheduling of sampling activities
- Act as the primary contact for the sampling team, offering guidance and day-to-day operational support
- Assist with customer communication, ensuring prompt and thorough resolution of inquiries and issues
- Support the production of KPI figures and invoicing to help track project performance
- Undertake sampling from pre-defined sample points and transport samples back to site
- Recording and reporting field data in line with ALS quality procedures
The Essentials
- Experience in client interaction within a commercial environment, ideally in a similar role
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, flexible, and customer-focused approach to work
- Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office
- Possession of a clean driving licence
