Location

  • Currently based in High Holborn, London, UK
  • Relocating to Victoria, London, UK from September 2025

We're looking for a Studio & Broadcast Manager to join our team in London as part of of Studios, Informa Festivals' Creative Content function.

The Video Broadcast manager is responsible for all aspects of live video production. Managing a small team, they will be overseeing all Live activity within the in-house studio and off-site. They will have a strong grasp of all the technical equipment and know-how to operate within a broadcast environment- from cameras to transmission and everything in between. They will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ongoing desire to improve and innovate within their field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running and managing the Live team and in-house broadcast studios
  • Overseeing the production and facilitation of live programming and virtual events to a world-class standard
  • Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies in the Live workstream
  • Work with cross-functional teams to advance on our live offering
  • Responsible for the overall look and feel of all video assets created and continually suggest developments in this area to ensure we are constantly innovating and improving
  • Be proficient in operating all aspects of the studio and streaming equipment including cameras, lighting, sound, transmission and vision mixing
  • Liaising with clients to capture requirements, feedback and bookings
  • Directing live shows and meeting the needs of on-screen talent to ensure success from a live show standpoint
  • Execute projects within targeted deadlines and budget scope
  • Advanced shooting and non-linear editing skills

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Ideally 5+ years' experience working in a similar role or livestream environment
  • Hands on experience running and maintaining the quality audio, video and graphics
  • Live switching multiple cameras in a broadcast or virtual event environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot video, audio, and live stream issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understand and on-going curiosity in live and video trends
  • Experience of multiple video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Skype, Gotowebinar etc) in a streaming environment
  • Excellent IT and networking knowledge in broadcast and live streaming workflows
  • Prior exposure to working and directing within Live Multi-Camera set
