Like Disney, we are organised under two pillars; Disney Entertainment (Disney+, Theatrical, Networks) and Disney Experiences (Parks and Cruises, Consumer Products and Games).
Our London-based EMEA & UK team comprises c. 100 people, who are dedicated to Disney's business, and supported by local teams in 27 markets across the EMEA region, who are a true extension of our team.

Overview
About the role....
Publicis Imagine is looking for a new Strategy Director to work across all pillars of The Walt Disney Company. This is an opportunity to work with one of the most culturally influential brands, operating across multiple product categories. You will be tasking with driving growth through media by delivering innovative and scalable strategies across EMEA, spanning entertainment and experiences.
This role will report to the Managing Partner.
Responsibilities
About the work....
- Be the main strategic point of contact for clients, providing informed, insightful and authoritative consultancy
- Developing and deploying annual strategies, demonstrating data led thinking with creativity and innovation, and considering Paid Owned and Earned touchpoints
- Leading and developing strategic thought leadership, including development of content for Media Summits and other key senior meetings
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, as well as global and local teams. This includes collaboration with key strategic partners e.g. creative agencies
- Manage the wider Publicis Imagine Strategy, setting the bar for strategic deliverables, and aiding their development of their craft
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the client's business from current and historical perspectives, as well as a vision for their future
- Ensure that all projects and deliverables and met on time and to the highest standard
- Be an active participant in helping build the Publicis Imagine team and culture
- Be a point of connection with the wider Publicis media brands and teams: sharing information, insights, and being a source of collaboration for the Groupe
- Oversee and drive the integration of campaign learnings into planning and strategy to develop and evolve the work
- Maintaining media playbooks and planning bibles, ensuring they reflect the current approach and strategic direction of the client
Qualifications
What you need to succeed....
- Exceptional client management with clear communication skills
- Used to dealing with senior clients who are experts in brand marketing
- Collaborative mindset and approach
- Comfortable with ambiguity, with an ability to carve a path through it and form a plan
- Confident working with data and using data to tell a story
- Self-starter - you will have the energy to kick start projects yourself and define the path forward for our clients, and internal teams and markets
- Excellent presentation skills and an ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner to those in non-expert roles
- Effective and persuasive communication skills to align client and agency teams
- Enthusiastic, energetic, able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once
- Useful but not mandatory: Entertainment experience. However, a passion for the industry and for Disney is essential
