The Role

We've been pioneers from the start and that mindset still shapes how we work today. We're looking for a Strategy Consulting Analyst who enjoys challenging conventions, sharing ideas, and helping shape how technology supports the way leading organizations think about talent.

The role of the Analyst is to work within the Strategy Consulting Advisory Center of Excellence, supporting the Project Lead with PMO Analyst responsibilities such as contributing to project planning, preparing and maintaining documentation; tracking project/program status, monitoring project activities, and evaluating the overall project to ensure successful delivery. As well as acting as a trusted advisor with a focus on deploying solution design support on small to medium size talent acquisition diagnostic, strategic transformation, and/or implementations.

In the case of complex or transformative programs, the Consultant will provide support to Sr. Consultants, Senior Managers, Project Managers, and workstream leads with specific activities and deliverables aligned to the Consultant. Able to provide market knowledge, the Analyst will work with the client to gather, interpret, and run analysis of data of current state and support with the design, mapping, and write-up of future state recommendation and/or solution.

Occasional travel may be required to client sites (and AMS locations) within the region. The size, scope, and complexity of projects vary based on the client engagements. The Strategy Consulting Analyst reports into the regionally aligned Manager.

Key Accountabilities

Delivery

  • Assisting Project Leads from initialisation through to project close, contributing to
    quality reviews.
  • Support the risk management planning, recognition, and mitigation; providing the
    analyzed data needed to make the big-picture decisions.
  • Manage programme level lessons learned repository; manage post-project review
    meetings to identify improvement opportunities to be implemented in future
    projects/programmes. Contributing to the assurance review process.
  • Collate qualitative and quantitative workshop/validation outputs; analyse and
    contribute to quality reviews; actively seeking feedback to drive continuous
    improvement.
  • Continued evolvement of the PMO processes, toolkits, and templates. Responsible
    for maintaining the function's SharePoint & MS Teams, ensuring tools & templates
    are updated, and rolled out to the team.
  • Support SMEs in the development of end-to-end recruitment process, talent
    acquisition function, and strategic consulting recommendations/solutions.
  • Supporting client consulting assignments aligned to core consulting areas varying in scale and complexity.
  • Support development of workstream deliverables and client presentations -
    transferable workstream responsibility for delivering specific subject matter
    expertise, taking ownership of one or more project deliverables, such as organizing
    training plans and creating training materials, process mapping and creation of
    process documentation, development of organisation charts or data analysis.
  • Coordinate scheduling of meetings, interviews, and working sessions with clients
    with support of Analyst.
  • Participate in client meetings, interviews, and workshops and take meeting notes
    as relevant to workstream.
  • Take accountability for all elements of the project when assigned to lead the
    project. Take accountability for tasks, proactively communicate updates, and
    accurately complete deliverables within the assigned timelines of a project when
    acting in a project support role.

Team Leadership

  • Takes on mentoring/coaching responsibilities for Analyst level roles.
  • Conduct training and upskilling to support the team's development.

Relationships

  • Maintain relationships and actively influence project stakeholders and SMEs to
    reach decisions and progress the project forward.
  • Collaborate with peers and managers on best practices, support, and ideas for
    continuous improvement.

Growth

  • Identify out of scope requests and activities and raise to project/line manager.
  • Monitor number of hours used against each project or deliverable on a weekly
    basis and proactively flag if a project is likely to go beyond projected hours.
  • Provide tangible contribution to internal ad hoc and continuous improvement
    initiatives within the team.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends through research/insight projects.

Skills & Requirements

Must Have

  • Advanced stakeholder communication skills, including strong Active Listening and the ability to Manage Expectations with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with Advanced Time Management and ability to structure and Categorise Information effectively.
  • Advanced research and analytical capability, including Research & Data Gathering and Data Analysis to support project insights and decisions.
  • Experience supporting project coordination and project management, including maintaining documentation, tracking progress, and supporting delivery.
  • Strong business writing and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and project materials.
  • Good administration technology literacy, comfortable using collaboration and documentation tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint).

  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with strong Adaptability and openness to New Ideas and Continuous Improvement.
  • Exposure to consulting, PMO, HR transformation, or talent acquisition projects.
