The Strategic Workforce Planning Data & Insights Manager plays a critical role in the Resourcing department by leveraging data analysis to inform strategic workforce planning initiatives. The role sits within the Resourcing function, however, will work across all facets of HR. The Manager is responsible for gathering and analysing data from various sources, creating forecasts and predictive analytics for workforce planning, and communicating insights to stakeholders. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and develop impactful presentations for Executive-level stakeholders. This is a highly impactful role that will facilitate the continued development of Strategic Workforce Planning across Deloitte.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Strategic Workforce Planning Product Lead in the execution of their Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) activities.
  • Building data driven SWP models in Excel, which identify future skills and support strategic workforce plans, forecast resourcing requirements to meet business objectives and business plans.
  • Manage and interrogate data to create forecasts and predictive analytics for workforce planning.
  • Gather quantitative & qualitative data from various sources and work across multiple systems to ensure comprehensive data collection and management.
  • Effectively communicate insights and implications derived from data analysis, telling the data story to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams including HRMI, Talent & Learning, HR Business Partners, Reward and Resourcing.
  • Proactively track multiple projects simultaneously across different Business Areas using Monday.com to maintain momentum and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Create impactful presentations using PowerPoint and other tools for onward presentation to Executive level stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement best practice consistent templates for executive-level documents.
  • Develop and maintain skills taxonomy and assist with mapping to job architecture, liaising with Reward and linking with the long-term plan to show hiring demand by skill.
  • Support the SWP Senior Manager in developing and maintaining methods for analysing all factors relevant to SWP; highlighting and anticipating issues and opportunities, establishing principles around use of predictive analytics around supply and demand.
  • Interpret demand and supply data inputs in the established model to determine interventions on strategic staffing requirements for the area of the business.
  • Advise on where there are opportunities to further leverage data within the firm's established SWP approach.

  • Proven experience in Strategic Workforce Planning.
  • Demonstratable capability in data modelling and analytics tools and software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with other data visualisation tools.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure consistency across initiatives.
  • Experience in creating executive-level documents and implementing best practice consistent templates.
  • Proficiency in creating impactful presentations using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

  • Change management experience.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools such as Monday.com.
