Salary: £45,628+

What you’ll be doing:

  • Liaison with SMEs to support the development and maintenance of the Functional Long Terms Skills Analysis and Workforce Plan (LTSAWP) and the associated proposed supply solutions for a 2 – 5 year period
  • Collation, management, reporting and monitoring of LTSAWP actions to ensure people capability risks are understood and mitigations are being progressed
  • Data collation and analysis to understand functional capability health. Develop plans, in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts, to address any issues or risks
  • Responsible for the cost account management and liaison with programmes to identify opportunities and alignment of programme funding where appropriate in line with business demand
  • Provide and develop timely reports aligned to Governance framework

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Understanding of workforce planning and resource management
  • Strong Analytical skills such as data / analytics / reporting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Packages (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven Communication and negotiation skills

Desirable:

  • Experience and understanding of the lifecycle of Projects

The Site, Facilities & Infrastructure People Capability Team:

You will be supporting the full lifecycle of resource planning in the People Capability team with all aspects of workforce planning on a 2-5 year basis which includes; strategic workforce planning, reporting and analytics. You will be ensuring that the data is correct and accurate, reports are produced in a timely manner and you will also have the opportunity to work with all levels of stakeholders. You will be working in a team of 10 people reporting to the People Capability Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise people skills at all levels, developing new ways of working and supporting the wider function. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
