The Keyholding Company holds a unique place in the security industry, combining over two decades' experience of traditional keyholding and alarm response services with a tech-driven, innovative ethos and ambitious plans to diversify.
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Strategic Accounts Director to build and strengthen key client relationships, ensuring their goals align with TKC's business objectives. In this role, you'll identify opportunities for growth, drive service improvements, and collaborate with teams across the business to deliver real value. Acting as a trusted advisor to our clients, you'll take ownership of strategic initiatives, solve complex challenges, and play a key role in shaping how we continue to deliver outstanding service.
What you get:
- Excellent base salary of £90,000 per annum, with the opportunity to earn an additional £20,000 through performance-related bonuses.

You'll be (but not limited to):
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to align client goals and TKC objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for expanding services and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Monitoring and enhancing client satisfaction through regular feedback and working with Account.
- Management and Support to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Acting as the client's ambassador within TKC.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to proactively enhance service quality - working with our Service Delivery teams.
- Working with our Quality Team and Data Team to implement performance metrics and KPIs.
- Working with clients to ensure they meet our digital transformation objectives.
- Thinking differently about how we can delight our clients - for example, liaising with the Tech team on our development roadmap.
- Whilst some of our Account Management team are managed centrally, you may line manage some Account Managers and other resource on certain key accounts.
- Whilst most day-to-day client enquiries will sit with the Account Manager, you will naturally take ownership of complex or serious issues that need to be investigated and communicated to the client.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with services including operational, financial and reputational risks.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ownership of client contract and renewals and handling of annual price increases.
- Running P&Ls and looking for innovate ways to deliver effective cost saving without any loss of service levels.
An excellent candidate for this role will be:
- Proven experience in strategic account management, ideally within the security industry or a service-driven sector.
- Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities within key accounts.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
