We're also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.

The role
We're looking for a proven senior relationship manager with a track record of success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder relationships. A strong track record in achieving sales targets whilst maintaining long-term client relationships is key to success. You will play a key role in contributing to delivering our sales targets by understanding our clients' requirements and harnessing Seccl's cross-functional resources to maximise each commercial opportunity.
On a typical day you will be...
- Acting as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of high-value clients, building deep and trusted partnerships
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive growth, strengthen relationships, and uncover cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborating with internal teams to align on client needs, resolve service issues swiftly, and deliver an exceptional client experience
- Monitoring client performance and market trends to identify risks, retention opportunities, and revenue drivers
- Navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments, balancing diverse priorities while maintaining long-term client trust
- Delivering clear, persuasive updates and proposals to exec and senior leadership teams both internally, and externally
This role's for you if...
- You're an experienced relationship manager with a proven track record of building and growing high-value, multi-stakeholder partnerships in financial services or fintech
- You can navigate complex client and internal dynamics, balancing diverse interests and resolving sensitive issues with diplomacy
- You're commercially minded, with deep knowledge of fintech or adviser operating models and a strong grasp of revenue drivers, costs, and regulatory considerations
- You know how to turn market insight into actionable opportunities and design account plans that deliver real growth
- You're data-driven, using analysis to identify retention and cross-sell opportunities that benefit clients and the business
- You're comfortable overseeing service delivery, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across teams to achieve swift resolutions
- You're an exceptional communicator who can write compelling proposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and represent Seccl at governance or board-level meetings
This role isn't for you if...
- You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression
- You're not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
- You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
- You don't like change. You'll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
