As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated cycling enthusiasts, and driving sales growth. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience by providing expert advice and assistance.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases our products effectively.
  • Sales and Performance: Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Training and Development: Continuously train and develop your team's product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff by following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail management role, ideally within a fast-paced or specialist retail environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales and deliver results.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Experience in inventory management, stock control, and delivering effective visual merchandising.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
