Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience by providing expert advice and assistance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases our products effectively.
- Sales and Performance: Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Training and Development: Continuously train and develop your team's product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff by following health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail management role, ideally within a fast-paced or specialist retail environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales and deliver results.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- Sales-driven mindset with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on customer experience.
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, and delivering effective visual merchandising.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
