Job Description
As a Store Manager with COS you will be responsible for the overall performance of your store with a primary focus on delivering great customer experiences that drive sales and profitability. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding a dedicated team to efficiently run the store operations. By prioritizing both direct interactions and behind-the-scenes support, you'll cultivate an environment where every customer feels valued and every aspect of the store contributes to its success, ultimately maximizing profits.
Although no two days are ever the same, there are some things that you can expect to be involved in regularly this includes:
- Offering customers a high level of service, through styling advice, product knowledge and store experience
- Analysing selling information and taking responsibility for the store sales performance
- Leading and motivating a team of managers, visual merchandisers and sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service
- Leading on recruitment and ensure induction and training to new starters is carried out
- Identifying future talents and putting together development plans to support their progression
- Overseeing store operations
- Creating a great place to work
Qualifications
To be successful in the role of Store Manager, we believe you are a team player with a proactive and helpful approach, fostering collaboration and collective success.
You should have previous management/leadership experience plus the qualities below:
- Approximately 3 years working as a store manager within a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, train and develop a team
- Customer focused
- Self-motivated & Positive
- Adaptable
- A genuine interest in others
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent commercial abilities and interest in fashion, retail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and evenings when required
