Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Lead and inspire a team of retail professionals to achieve store goals and objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and optimize product placement
- Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to make informed business decisions
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate with regional management to implement company-wide initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers and employees
- Oversee cash management and financial reporting for the store
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to drive store performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role
- Background in fashion or luxury retail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions
- Experience in inventory management and loss prevention techniques
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
- Commitment to promoting company values and fostering a positive store culture
Please note this role is a full time, permanent contract. The hours are 45h per week, 5 days over 7 including a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

- Basic rate salary £33,542 per annum
