Job Description

This role is located in Shoreham stock facility.

• Ensuring that jobs are prepared correctly, cost effectively, and delivered on time in accordance with customer specification and quality requirements.
• Communicating with all the relevant people and co-ordinating all relevant inputs (people, plant, and processes) to ensure output and on time delivery targets are achieved.
• Ensuring that the Service Centre has the relevant competent skilled employees knowledge, plant, and tooling required to achieve output targets.
• Managing the Purchasing function to ensure goods (PPE, stationary, tools and other items of equipment) are purchased cost effectively and available when required.
• Managing the stock control (vessel/truck arriving) to ensure the material and product is stored and delivered correctly.
• As part of the Management team, you will also be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the company's strategic and operational KPIs and overall business aims.

Profile
Experienced stock operations manager with insights in:
- Operations: Capacity planning, Planning and scheduling of work load, Operations control, Quality control, Performance assessment and strategy
- Site operation qualifications (NVQ, NEBOSH, instructor levels for site operations, FLT/Crane operator, ...)
- Purchasing & Inventory Management: Purchasing of goods and services, Inventory Management
- Human resource: Staff training and development, Performance management and assessment
- Customer service: Maintain initiative-taking, dynamic, and effective communication, Customer orientation
- Health and safety: Assure Health and safety policy, conduct risk assessment and report
- Fluency in English. Any other language is an advantage
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, result-oriented, open-minded and dynamic
- Ready to accept responsibility
- Good communication and presentation skills, paired with excellent team spirit (direct internal and external interactions)
