Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock and Systems Manager working across the contract, with sites based in Bridgwater, Severn Beach, Avonmouth and Brockworth. This is a key role that is central to the successful delivery of a prestigious contract where Wincanton provide warehousing and distribution for deliveries into the Hinkley Point C build programme that is playing a key role in Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero.
Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history.
The role requires Warehouse Management System experience.

Day to Day
- Motivate and manage a team of stock and system administrators to achieve, and where possible, exceed all performance objectives
- Effectively manage resource to achieve KPI's across quality, service and absence
- Managing inventory accuracy and analysis of data
- Recording performance reports, making recommendations for improvements
- Ensure a proactive approach to Health & Safety via risk assessments and ensuring best practice across warehouse team members
- Monitoring goods in, packing, kitting, goods out, loading and unloading performance against KPI's
- Maintain stock accuracy/integrity to contractual level; lead on investigations and root cause analysis of errors
- Attend customer meetings, providing a responsive and professional service
- Manage and maintain Process and Work Instructions
- Support with customer Non-Conformance investigations
What will you bring?
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Warehouse Management System experience ESSENTIAL; desirable; Manhattan, Asset Suite 9
- Strong attention to detail, accurate and precise way of working
- Computer literate and numerate with the ability to pick up new systems
- Team management experience able to lead and motivate a team with effective communication skills at all levels
