As a Business Development Manager within AWS, you will support our engagement with venture firms and their portfolio companies. You'll combine your understanding of cloud technologies with business development skills to help evaluate and support startups in your assigned portfolio.

Key job responsibilities
- Support AWS market and technical strategy within assigned portfolio
- Help evaluate startups' technical and business potential through basic understanding of their architecture
- Build relationships with assigned venture firms and their portfolio companies
- Support strategic initiatives that connect AWS services with startup needs
- Provide basic technical and business guidance to portfolio companies
- Contribute to business reviews and portfolio updates
- Work with cross-functional teams to support startup growth

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of business development in technology industry with focus on startups or technical roles
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and services
- Experience working with technical solutions in business context
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Startup or venture capital experience
- Technical background or certifications
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Basic understanding of emerging technologies
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Analytical capabilities
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
