Prime Video is looking for a world-class product leader to own and drive the strategy for our 1P and 3P subscription products. You will lead a team of Product Managers, and work with a dynamic set of global stakeholders to launch delightful customer experiences for customers in over 200 countries where Prime Video is live.
As a Prime Video Sr. Manager of Product, you will own defining and executing a customer-centric product vision, working backwards from a clear experience North Star. Your team will conceptualize, implement, and refine solutions that elevate customer outcomes. Your ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic thinking, coupled with our skill in building consensus across diverse stakeholders, will be pivotal to your success.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term strategy for retaining subscribed customers
- Provide strategic direction to guide your team and influence org priorities
- Lead roadmap planning and oversee execution of all aspects of implementation of your products
- Work across multiple organizations to align on and achieve objectives
A day in the life
- You will work with Product, Engineering, UX, and Business teams from initiation to deployment and will be responsible delivering best-in-class experiences to customers
- You will demonstrate proficiency in addressing viewer, customer needs and business needs
- You must have strong business judgment, customer obsession, and be technical. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategy, but can also roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
- You will deliver recommendations to senior executives and drive alignment across levels, functions, and organizations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience managing teams
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
