Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, Kindle

The Amazon Devices team is seeking a talented, creative, and dynamic Senior Brand Marketing Manager with a proven track record in delivering high value brand marketing campaigns. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of Kindle in Europe.

The role will be responsible for developing integrated marketing plans, executing them with core consistent messaging that continues to drive awareness and user growth for Kindle and managing annual marketing budget. They will need to use extensive customer insights to define priority programs and features that focus our cross-channel efforts at scale, deriving stronger impact across brand marketing programs. They will focus on marketing efforts designed to bolster Kindle brand perceptions to improve the purchase intent

The right person for this role will have experience with brand marketing, making data-driven decisions, and influencing others. They should have a solid understanding of customer dynamics and segmentation in the digital media, commerce, advertising, mobile and high-tech industries. They should to have a good understanding of the online advertising landscape and key competitors' strengths and weaknesses. They must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) while addressing potential business challenges, diving deep and digging up insights. Flexibility, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. Key job responsibilities
- Own the planning and implementation of innovative integrated marketing campaigns.
- Lead the strategic input briefs for the EU Kindle devices Mass and Brand campaigns, working with partner teams (e.g, analytics, finance, central channel teams) and the US Kindle brand team to align marketing strategies and deliver innovative, relevant and data driven demand driving initiatives.
- Manage media investments with paid media agencies, including paid marketing strategy and execution for performance channels.
- Be the EU champion and voice of the EU customer commissioning and reviewing relevant research to help us properly understand the customer needs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and deliver efficiency gains across various channels. Partner with analytics, finance, and Amazon central channel teams to optimize campaigns and deliver efficiency gains.
- Review and approve customer-facing assets, communications to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Provide business analysis to identify device and customer cohort specific behavioral trends and recommend regionally relevant action plans.
- Measure performance of all initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), optimize strategies and monitor customer behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Create and present high-quality documents and presentations to senior leadership both inside and outside the company.t
- Drive results, work autonomously to set roadmaps and goal tracking and have substantial experience managing brand development at scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Relevant years of experience in related functions
- Experience developing strategies and execution plans to achieve business goals.
- Experience in analyzing drivers, and applying analytical and quantitative skills to develop business cases, and conduct root cause analyses.
- Experience with writing documents that summarize analyses and insights, and presenting these to senior/executive leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and self-starter environment for a large consumer brand.
- Experience in brand marketing and integrated communication plans
- Proven expertise in analyzing marketing performance metrics and customer insights.
- Creative yet analytical mindset with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with high level of ambiguity, and strong ownership.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency in German, French, Spanish or Italian is a plus.
