Caesars Sportsbook is a market leading Sportsbook in the US market. The UK-based Trading function will be fully responsible for the expert Trading of the core non-US Sports, including Soccer, Tennis, European Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby Union, plus many others. We will also collaborate continuously with the Trading team in Las Vegas, providing high levels of expert support for the traditional US sports, whilst being integral to the development of intelligent trading systems, and processes, to ensure the strategy of turnover growth and profit maximization is achieved. As the US Sports Manager - ROW, you will report directly to the Head of Trading - ROW and will be responsible for managing all elements of the US product during Vegas overnight. As well as having a direct impact on revenue generation and profitability, there will be a strong focus on in-depth analysis, collaboration with development teams, improving trader knowledge of systems and trading, and working with senior management to develop internal systems, processes, and models, which is imperative to ensure we are offering maximizing our profits and managing our liabilities.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure the US Sports product is properly maintained throughout the 'overnight' period for the US, utilizing the Bet Auth function & managing our process around bet acceptance and price changes.
• Give a high-level of scrutiny to early prices and lines when the market is weakest and quickly respond to sharp business.
• Work to achieve a minimum of friction to customers' betting experience, helping to ensure round-the-clock coverage of all the key sports and markets, whilst constantly maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Liaise extensively with US counterparts to ensure all trading related tasks are in line with the company vision and remove duplication of work between the teams.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitors and ensure that we are offering a best-in-class product that stands out from the competition.
• High levels of collaboration to develop and build on ideas, to innovate, and make sound trading decisions under pressure.
• Develop training modules and put in place a learning system/process to develop and nurture the trading talent within the team.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to help the business improve profitability, operational processes, and protect customers, with minimal guidance from management e.g., identification and evaluation of trading risk opportunities, pricing and trading strategies, model development and customer profiling. Communicate analysis, findings, conclusions, and recommendations to all relevant business partners, and actively assist in the implementation of accepted recommendations.
• Consult closely with technology teams and the trading teams, to develop models, systems, reports, and strategies to maximize profits whilst protecting customers.
• Highly experienced in working in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a high involvement in shaping the strategic direction and the growth of the bet acceptance & bet monitoring functions.

What You Will Need:

• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to adapt and develop systems.
• Depth of knowledge in all sporting fields, combining their love and knowledge of sport, with extremely strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate data sets effectively, combined with sporting knowledge and critical thinking, to derive customer behaviors, problem markets and incorrect limit sets.
• Proven record of innovation and building accurate reporting to uncover hidden issues within data sets.
• Effective decision making, with the ability to operate strategically and under their own initiative, to assist organizational objectives and capitalize on opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovative and proactive approach to all aspects of trading risk, with the ability to continuously adapt to the constantly evolving landscape of the industry.
• Development and management of effective operational procedures.
• Proven experience of motivating and inspiring others to take performance to the next level.
