Our corporate marketing and brand team brings the topics that matter most in business to life - from inclusion to technology to climate change. We are a diverse bunch of content, brand, marketing, programme management and yes, sponsorship professionals.

Our sponsorships play a big part in how we build our brand - and our activations are designed to make people stop and think - to help them see Deloitte in a different light - and to help inspire people who believe business can make a difference on the things that matter, building a community that we can nurture and grow.

Connect to your career at Deloitte

Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, that covers audit, risk advisory, and consulting services across tax, legal, business, technology and corporate finance, we help our clients become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It's how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other , foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most .

Connect to your opportunity

Our Brand team brings the topics that matter most in business to life - from inclusion to technology to climate change.

So how are we looking to grow our brand?

People are making decisions about where they work or who they buy from differently - away from the transactional, to reinforce a set of values and beliefs they hold. Even in b2b. That's why it's never been more important to help people understand who we are and what we stand for.

We need to make sure these things come through clearly in our marketing and communications - so it attracts those that feel the same. Do this well and we'll not only attract them, but they'll also even want to tell our story for us.

But people are busy. And there's lots of competing demands for their time. Only the most relevant, useful, engaging and human content gets attention.

Which is why we're looking for someone to come on board to help us change how we approach and activate our business partnerships, with the aim of developing a consistent brand-led experience.

Partnerships can mean a lot of things, from working with events or conferences to major sporting bodies to charitable relationships.

Every year we're active in forming many new, different (and often fascinating) business relationships, event sponsorships, conferences, as well as hosting our own events.

We're looking for someone who wants to work with our marketing community to make our brand really stand out and cut through. Note, this is all about brand experience, working with our experienced marketing managers and event professionals to bring the best of our brand to life using our existing programmes, content, and experiential through the medium of business sponsorships and owned events.

You'll focus on key relationships and the areas of highest priority to help our people to consider and set the approach for the relationship, negotiate rights, and create the goal posts for activations, agendas, and speaking slots, so it feels like the best of Deloitte, then working with your colleagues across the firm to bring that vision to life.

Sound like fun? Then keep reading.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

If you've got this far, you'll have realised that we're looking for someone who wants to do things differently - we're not the type of people who take a standard sponsorship offer and activate against the list one by one. So, to help you, here are a few of the things we'll be looking for:

  • Sponsorship management experience - clearly, if you're going to advise partners on the commercial aspects of a sponsorship, experience in sponsorship and partnerships and/or corporate marketing will be useful. The projects you'll run are complicated and require strong project management skills, excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. You'll also be a natural negotiator - able to work with a range of third party rights holders and stakeholders and build rapport with internal clients at all levels.
  • Channel mix - you'll have experience working across a variety of channels including email, film, audio, social media, blogs, webinars and presentations. And the willingness to both stick at something and try out new things.
  • Confidence and creativity - we'll need you to believe in your ideas and be confident in developing and sharing them. You'll need to be comfortable and prepared to stand up for your ideas when you need to. But also be able to bring people with you and understand that progress happens one step at a time.
  • Team player. Cliché right? But it's true. You'll be working alongside our brand and marketing teams and colleagues across the firm. Supporting each other and working collaboratively with people, rather than in competition against them is a must.
  • World view - you'll need to have a good grasp of some of the most pressing issues in the world. What matters in business? What's in the news? What are people worried about or inspired by? We need to stop interrupting what people are interested in and be what people are interested in, so the ability to relate what we're doing to the real world is essential.
  • Focus - if you can write well and have ideas you'll be in demand. People will ask for your help. This feels great and you'll want to do what you can to help others. But there's a danger you end up getting pulled in many directions and away from the area you can have the biggest impact. While there will be lots of support and guidance from the team, being able to focus and prioritise is a must.
  • Care - we're a small team trying to make people think differently about Deloitte and the role of business. It's fun - but fun isn't the same as easy. We have high standards and you'll need be considered and take pride in producing great work. And be prepared to roll up your sleeves and push for excellence. Always.
