RSM Corporate Finance is currently seeking dynamic and motivated Manager to work in Special Situations M&A.
RSM's Special Situations Group is a partner-led team that integrates expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring to deliver tailored solutions for businesses navigating significant change or financial distress. Supporting both sell-side and buy-side stakeholders, the team works with corporates, lenders, and other financial stakeholders across the UK and globally, providing dynamic transaction support to achieve optimal outcomes.
You'll make an impact by:
- Assisting in preparing high-quality marketing materials, including IMs and teasers, to support Special Situation transactions
- Analysing operational performance and profitability to develop actionable reports and recommendations for underperforming businesses
- Working closely with senior personnel and other stakeholders, ensure effective communication throughout engagements
- Project managing the delivery of engagements and reports to a high standard
- Assisting in the preparation of pitch documents and materials
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication and report-writing skills. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, a willingness to take on responsibility, and a collaborative approach to working in a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
Essential
- Excellent report writing / drafting and communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to review data for completeness and accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Either an ACA with a minimum 1-year post qualification experience
Desirable
- A background in either M&A / transactions or Restructuring
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
- Financial analysis capabilities
