Your Role in Our Vision
Are you an experienced events professional ready for your next big challenge? Join our passionate Special Events team, delivering over 10 exclusive events annually and raising more than £2 million-with ambitious plans to grow significantly over the next five years.
In this fast-paced role, you'll manage multiple events, from high-value galas to corporate-led initiatives, creating and delivering impactful experiences.

A day in the life of Special Events Manager
- Oversee a portfolio of committee-led and special events, ensuring timely delivery, maximized income, and excellent supporter experiences.
- Foster excellence in event operations through detailed planning, best practices, and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Negotiate with venues and suppliers to secure cost-effective services and achieve optimal ROI within budget.
- Plan and manage event budgets, ensuring income and expenditure targets are met.
- Provide monthly updates on event progress, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with design teams to produce high-quality promotional materials aligned with brand guidelines.
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including senior volunteers, suppliers, and supporters, to enhance support and access new networks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage events for stewardship, audience growth, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Innovate and implement new event concepts and fundraising platforms with the Senior Special Events Lead.
- Work with data teams to ensure seamless donor journeys, data analysis, and reporting.
- Attend and support all Special Events as agreed with the Senior Special Events Lead.
What you'll need
- Proven experience managing high-profile events, including committee-led and corporate events, from planning to execution.
- Strong budget management skills with the ability to maximise income and control expenditure.
- Expertise in supplier and venue negotiation to achieve cost-effective outcomes and ROI.
- Creative problem-solving skills to secure gifts in kind and innovate fundraising activities.
- Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple events and meet deadlines.

Salary: £35,530.00 - £39,474.00
Contract: Full Time, Contract role (13 months)
Based: London based with regular travel into the office (4 days per month)
