As our Spa Manager you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest's expectations. As Spa Manager you will responsible for the overall management of the spa, leading your team of Therapists and Receptionist to be totally customer focused and consistently deliver excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.
You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.
As our Spa Manager you will:
- Ensure that all treatment rooms and public areas are prepared for treatments and maintained accordingly at all times.
- Promote the Spa by helping to organise internal and external promotional activities.
- Help to prepare an annual sales and marketing plan for the Spa and adjust and review when necessary.
- Ensure that the Spa department creates a professional impression to customers and team members.
- Evaluate and act promptly and effectively on customer feedback received through any and all channels to achieve positive and consistent results.
- Consistently look for ways to improve guest experience in your areas of responsibility.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning service.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered in a professional and appropriate manner ensuring customers are comfortable and at ease whilst receiving an excellent service, through conversation and pleasant surroundings.
- Assist with demonstrations, events, spa show-rounds to members, clients and guests as required.
- Assist when required with spa reservations, reception desk and locker room duties.
- Strive to continually improve guest and members satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
- Maintain at all times operational standards in regards to service, hygiene and health & safety.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Managerial experience within the spa industry
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service and train others to follow a similar example
- Have previous proven experience in a 4-star hotel or a similar high-quality environment
