Our Spa & Leisure Club Managers play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, they are the real ambassadors of our company, and are committed to consistently delivering high standards
What we require from you
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa & Leisure Club Manager to lead and manage our spa and leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated industry professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest and member experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing financial performance, and leading a team to provide high-quality services in line with company standards.

Achieve and exceed pre-agreed revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor financial performance and take corrective action as needed.
- Assist in budget planning and setting business objectives.
- Oversee daily operations of the spa and leisure club.
- Monitor club usage, gym, pool, and class attendance to optimise staff rotas.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all facilities.
- Assist with life-saving responsibilities as per NPLQ training and emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular pool plant testing to ensure water quality and safety standards are met.
- Drive membership sales, manage administration, and implement marketing strategies to promote the spa and leisure club.
- Manage membership administration, including applications, renewals, and direct debits.
- Implement monthly leisure and spa sales plans to grow business.
- Oversee spa bookings, occupancy, third-party partnerships, and sales.
- Support with spa treatments when necessary to maintain high service standards.
- Manage stock take and control of spa products, retail items, and leisure equipment.
- Ensure financial and KPI targets are met through effective retailing and inventory management.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the spa and leisure team.
- Provide ongoing training, including pool responder training, to ensure staff competence.
- Set high professional standards and lead by example.
- Oversee third party contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure all agreements meet safety and operational standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within a spa and leisure environment.
Additional:
- Experience managing a leisure club and/or spa facility.
- Strong leadership, sales, marketing, and financial management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with experience handling guest complaints.
- Knowledge of pool plant testing and pool responder training.
- NPLQ qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Flexibility to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays
