Key accountabilities

  • Promote The Peninsula London to becoming a recognized culinary destination by creating memorable guests' experiences through artistry and uncompromised passion for excellence
  • Coordinate and direct all aspects of the Room Service kitchen operation and produce all food required
  • Develop, motivate, supervise and coach departmental employees in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision, values, and core HSH principles
  • Ensure personnel, physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in adherence to HACCP
  • Always keep the kitchen equipment in pristine condition to maximize its operating life

General requirements

  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in a five-star hotel with large banquet or employee restaurant with at least 3 years in charge of the department, pre-opening experience would be desirable
  • Extensive technical knowledge and the ability to identify current culinary trends
  • Ability to maintain an extremely sanitary environment, alongside being able to communicate effectively in a team
  • Fluent English communication proficiency
