About the roleAnalysts within UK Sourcing provide rich insight and data on key product & supplier metrics globally as part of the JLP balanced global supply base.
In this role you will effectively analyse, interpret and present data in a way that will help inform the UK Head of Sourcing and UK Category Sourcing Managers, to support strategic commercial balanced sourcing plans.
Build collaborative relationships with key members of the UK Buying & Merchandising, Q&T & Supplier Management communities, informing joint plans as part of the day to day operations.
Your input will influence and provide relevant insight to the Sourcing team and broader Commercial teams. You need to clearly articulate your analysis and conclusions from a data set in written and verbal form.
Your ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload, as well as applying your strong digital skills and data analytics will provide the administration support for the UK Sourcing Team and Global Sourcing Offices.
Use data insight to identify new & emerging regions worldwide.

Expected salary - £40,800- £48,000 (dependent on experience).

Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.

Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Sourcing team aim for around 2 days a week in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.

Key responsibilities

Analysis of data from different systems inc Boxi, Segura, Coupa, Tableau, Excel, Data Studio, Google sheets. Data to be analysed and conclusions drawn. Insight to be presented clearly and formatted in a way to easily share with commercial teams.

Frequent cadence coordination and data feed into reporting decks.

Support the CSM lead on E-Tenders; help to manage the end to end process keeping the tender on timeline, and identifying stakeholders to chase, and process improvement that could be made.

Facilitation of supplier scorecard coordination across CPG’s alongside Commercial Managers. Support CSMs with analysing results and formatting to share with the commercial teams.

Essential skills/experience you’ll need

Proficient in data analysis, pivot tables, tableau, Excel, Google Studio, BOXI and data systems, ERP systems such as Coupa

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
