East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.

We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council as a Solutions Programme Manager.

Your role

As a proactive individual, with a transformational approach, you will work collectively and collaboratively as part of the Digital Management Team. Ultimately your role will be ensuring high quality services are delivered to East Suffolk via a range of transformation and improvement programmes, working across all teams and services of the Council and our trading company, East Suffolk Services Ltd (ESSL).

This really is an exciting and varied role, with digital solutions at the centre, however it is a role where you can truly make a difference, take responsibility for implementing change and lead a team of people who share the same passion. You will manage, develop and implement programmes which deliver transformational change across all services of the council. If you are passionate about getting things done and doing the right thing - come and work for us!

What you will need

You will have extensive knowledge and experience of implementing change, with implementation of digital solutions using techniques which put the customer at the heart of everything we do. Along with experience of programme-based working, managing competing demands and paying attention to detail. Educated to degree level or with the equivalent specialist knowledge acquired through experience, or equivalent relevant specialist training, you will have an understanding of Systems Thinking, Lean techniques or similar frameworks.

Excellent Digital skills with a high level of technical awareness, as well as influencing and presentation skills, and the ability to forge strong working relationships with internal and external contacts is essential.

If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role, even if you don't meet all the essential requirements, please apply. We would appreciate the opportunity to consider your application.
