Regional Corporate Sales Manager (12-Month FTC)

Job Purpose

Hyundai and Genesis UK continue to expand and develop its fleet sales activities for further sustainable true fleet growth. The role involves the strategic management of existing major corporate accounts to increase our volume yield and to turn Prospect opportunities into live buying customers. These will be national 100+ car fleets where Hyundai and Genesis can gain inclusion on the customer's Company Car policy or Salary Sacrifice scheme with the key focus being to ensure effective positioning of our models and to maximise sales penetration of the customers fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Single-point-of-contact for a portfolio of circa 100 major corporate accounts.
  • Build and manage solid relationships with key stakeholders (customer and lease company)
  • Outline and deliver appropriate contact strategy to ensure full activation of these major accounts and appropriate volume/profit yield based on agreement conditions.
  • Ensure thorough qualification and ongoing knowledge of customer's fleet policy.
  • Ensure ongoing regular reviews are carried out with the customers to identify where Hyundai | Genesis products sit, in order to place our vehicles in the optimum positions.
  • Manage major international accounts working with Hyundai Motor Europe | Genesis Motor Europe fleet team.
  • Manage timely response to any Hyundai Motor Europe | Genesis Motor Europe RFP's (Pan European Request for Pricing) that affect existing key accounts.
  • Create and deliver a non-buying/prospect customer contact strategy to convert the customer and win new business.
  • Management of activity and processes to generate business plan volumes/deliverables with named accounts.
  • Ensure volume/profit delivery in-line with BP.
  • Where WLC strengths are identified ensure that suitable messages are articulated in the form of fleet communications and marketing tool development to use with key accounts.

Person Specification:

  • Ability to travel to any key meetings with customers/supply chain parties based on geography of key stakeholders.
  • A commercial knowledge of fleet purchasing practices and deal requirements of the sector is essential.
  • A self-starter able to work on their own initiative and to develop and share new ideas.
  • Strong, challenging and competitive individual with the drive to get results.
  • Personable and able to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Ability to deal confidently and professionally at all levels with business customers and funders.
  • Fully conversant with all vehicle funding methods and their features and benefits.
  • Passionate about the brand and Hyundai products especially ULEV/EV technology.
  • Fully conversant in Inland Revenue BIK principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the components within fleet polices and cost saving equations / calculations in order to confidently present ideas and proposals to customers.
  • Major account management experience.
  • Able to produce and deliver professional presentations at Board level.
  • Ability to personally develop and manage existing business and processes to support its successful introduction and on-going management.
