At Sky, we believe in better.
This means we consistently reshape what we offer to customers; to respond to their needs and make it simpler for them to join and stay with Sky.
We have an exciting change plan to improve products and propositions, systems and services and we need your help to make it happen.
For this role we offer the hybrid working approach with 3 days a week onsite in Osterley campus.
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end social campaign execution for titles across Sky's original scripted series and film slate, determining the creative and strategic direction from greenlight through to evaluation.
- Set the creative standard for scripted social campaigns, commissioning and overseeing best-in-class, platform-native social storytelling and championing bold, innovative digital ideas that resonate in culture and drive engagement.
- Provide oversight of campaign delivery, including phasing, localisation, community management direction, social listening, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with Sky's international production partners and distributors to ensure our titles and assets resonate globally, while also ensuring the UK go-to-market social campaign feels unique and unmissable.
- Oversee the social approach for talent-led content capture across your campaigns, working closely with cast, reps, and production teams across junkets, premieres, screenings, and shoot days, managing creative ideation, asset capture, editing, and approvals end-to-end.
- Confidently present strategy to exec-level stakeholders, responsibly manage significant budgets and creative agency relationships, and mentor junior team members to facilitate development across the team.
- Work across multiple titles and production timelines simultaneously to deliver campaigns at scale and to a consistently high standard, holding accountability for quality control, risk management, and campaign governance.
- Ensure campaigns are insight-led, culturally relevant, and complement wider comms, marketing, and awards strategies while remaining audience-first.
- Collaborate with teams across the business (Marketing, Awards, Sky Creative, Sky Studios, Brand and Sky Group) to deliver integrated campaigns across film and scripted TV.
What you'll bring:
- Substantial experience leading global social media campaigns for scripted series and/or film titles, demonstrating end-to-end ownership from strategic planning through to delivery and reporting.
- Strong track record of developing impactful social campaigns grounded in audience insights, platform behaviour, and cultural relevance, with proven results.
- Extensive experience working with high-profile stars and their reps, including producing/directing talent-led content and managing complex approval processes.
- Experience overseeing international campaign rollouts, including localisation, scheduling, and asset delivery.
- Confidence and experience presenting strategic rationale and creative concepts to senior stakeholders, as well as external production partners and talent, to secure buy-in.
- Demonstrable experience managing large budgets and agency relationships.
- Film industry experience, ideally including exposure to theatrical release strategy, premiere and junket execution, and the British awards landscape.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, emerging trends, and pop culture, with strong creative judgement and an undeniable passion for film and television.
- Experience working with creators, meme accounts, or digital publishers to extend reach beyond owned channels.
- Experience with on-set content capture and strong production literacy.
- Asset editing experience or a strong editorial eye with the ability to give clear, actionable creative feedback.
- Experience planning and executing paid social campaigns in collaboration with a media agency, with an understanding of how paid and organic work together.
