About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, culturally connected Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day output and performance across our Alcohol portfolio of clients' social channels (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat). You will be developing and implementing strategy that aligns with the brand's wider goals, embodies their tone of voice, with the ultimate goal of building their presence across all social media platforms and being at the forefront of what's trending. You will be responsible for reviewing, selecting, adapting and scheduling provided assets (brand assets, creator content, UGC, in-house shoots), ensuring every post is platform-native, on-brand, and aligned to what's trending right now. You will be working closely with broader team members and the client to ensure alignment of the calendar and positioning the brand at the forefront of its competitors.

This role suits someone who is detail-obsessed, fast, and adaptable, who always has their finger on the pulse of culture and what's trending, but also a strong communicator - equally comfortable managing a posting calendar, spotting a cultural moment, and reporting performance with clarity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organic social strategy across key platforms, grounded in a clear understanding of the client's business goals and upcoming priorities.
  • Own day-to-day publishing, delivering high-quality, high-volume posting using provided content and platform-native best practices.
  • Plan and run organic social campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing activity and evaluating channel effectiveness.
  • Build and manage the social editorial calendar, maintaining an accurate, consistent posting schedule.
  • Oversee content production with the Accounts team, drawing on in-house production, brand assets, creator content, and UGC.
  • Create platform-native posts by selecting and editing assets, writing captions, choosing formats, and tailoring tone of voice by channel.
  • Spot cultural and social trends daily, using emerging formats, audio, and creator styles to inform posting and inspire quick-turn ideas.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities, briefing in new assets or producing reactive content (e.g., TikTok-style videos, IG Stories) where valuable.
  • Lead community management, monitoring comments/DMs, responding in-brand, escalating issues, and fostering positive audience engagement.
  • Own reporting and insights, producing clear weekly/monthly summaries, tracking performance against KPIs, and adjusting strategy based on learnings and platform changes.
  • Stay agile and responsive, adapting plans quickly to urgent requests, platform updates, or fast-moving trends.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of prior experience working as a Social Media Manager across all platforms
  • Genuine passion for all things social, constantly staying up to date with the latest trends - experience in the F&B or Alcohol brand space is desired
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail, ensuring consistent accuracy in copy, formatting, scheduling, tagging, and asset handling
  • Experience in planning and optimising paid & organic social media campaigns
  • Experience utilising third-party paid social marketing technologies & social listening tools
  • Proven ability to grow a brand's social media presence through community management
  • Excellent in managing data sets and comfortable with analytics platforms and strong reporting skills
  • Team player who will actively contribute to discussions and put forward ideas
  • Excellent organisation and ability to work independently and to a high standard in a fast-paced environment, while always maintaining an eye for detail
  • Comfortable shooting static and video content on a phone and using tools such as Canva, Photoshop etc
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and deal with problems in a logical and efficient way
