Aspinal of London are seeking an ambitious Social Media Manager to join their brand communications team in London. In this role you will manage all Social Media activity for the brand to maximise audience engagement across all platforms. The individual will have ultimate responsibility for the Social Media strategy and ensuring the brand is correctly managed, and flourishing, across all key platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to plan strategically, ideate exciting social concepts and have hands-on experience of content capture and executing campaigns.
Role Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of Social Media across the brand, managing end-to-end activity and growth across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.

- Manage content requirements for social channels across both still and moving image, using brand campaign and creative content, ideating and capturing agile self-shot social-first content on a weekly basis, editing, copywriting and briefing internal and external creative teams.

- Create annual Social Media strategies, including channel planning, KPIs, creative concepts and engagement and growth driving initiatives. Generating fresh and exciting ideas across the social mix, including social-first content series and storytelling concepts, translating key marketing moments across social in an impactful way.

- Manage our Paid Social agency end-to-end from strategy to ad delivery and reporting.

- Lead on officially launching the brand on TikTok with a tailored strategy, implementing new social-first content creation projects to build engagement and following on the channel.

- Be the brand guardian across the social mix, ensuring the brand is positioned correctly and maintaining an elevated aesthetic across all channels. Ensure tone of voice and brand identity are maintained to the highest standard.

- Responsible to maintaining and growing the community across all social channels, including customers, influencers and VIPs. Checking direct messages twice daily and engaging with all comments and notifications on a daily basis.

- Compile thorough weekly, monthly and adhoc project reporting, to demonstrate ROI to senior stakeholders, with well considered and thoughtful insights to help foster improvement and a transparent approach to growth across the channel.

- Manage the social media and social content creation budget, ensuring that spending is efficient and as forecasted, liaising with finance to ensure all invoicing is correct, suppliers are setup, POs raised and budgets are updated.

- Support the wider brand communications team in the implementation of the global marketing strategy and key brand initiatives, collaborations and partnerships.

- Support the wider business from a social perspective, including working closely with the China social team on content sign offs and retail & wholesale teams on social marketing opportunities.

- Together with the customer services team, help manage the customer experience on the social forum, flagging any brand critical issues as and when appropriate

- Attendance at events, social engagements and occasional international travel on behalf of the marketing department. This role may be required to, on occasion, work out of hours for brand events or activations.

- Stay at the forefront of social media trends, with your finger on the pulse of culture and influence. Conduct research and gather information to support the development of the brand's social strategy, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices across marketing and communications.

Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Previous experience in or exposure to the luxury or fashion industry is essential
- Excellent organisational, efficiency and time management skills
- A blend of strategic & creative skills, the ability to generate new ideas with hands-on experience
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment with tight deadlines
- The ability to create elevated and impactful content across still & moving image
- A confident communicator with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects independently
- A team player with experience working in dynamic work environments
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn and ambition to grow within the role and business
- Proficient across Microsoft and Adobe software, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Knowledge of the global luxury market (particularly UK & US) and social media trends
- An interest in and awareness of macro and micro industry trends
