Social Media Executive - Mecca

Job Description

We are looking for candidates with a keen eye and passion for social media that reflect the fun and playful brand that is Mecca Bingo!

We'd like to find someone who is creative and proactive with their finger on the pulse of both trends and platform updates to help us build, boost and develop our social channels!

As the Social Media Executive you will be responsible for;

• Collatingand delivering innovative and engaging content across digital and social media channels.
• Coordinatingthe Social Media marketing content calendar to include content, creative and campaign plans to socially support multichannel promotions and initiatives.
• Using your creative flair to develop engaging content and campaigns to support and promote thebrand, pushing our social output to the next level.
• Being the point of contact for supporting retail and digital social media champions and effective management and governance.
• Supporting the delivery of fantastic influencer campaigns that showcase the best of Mecca and bring our brand to life for new audiences
• Partnering and collaborating with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and consistency in support and promotion of cross-channel content.
• The customer journey through social media to other parts of the digital journey.

Qualifications

• A track record of building fantastic social media accounts, with a portfolio of fantasticcontent.
• Ideally previous experience within a social media role with a strong creative flair.
• Significant knowledge of social media channels, particularly Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube.
• Experience or knowledge of; Microsoft Office, SalesForce Social Hub, Adobe CRM, ShortStack, Google Analytics and Adobe photoshop.
• A degree in marketing, journalism, English or new media or relevant experience preferred, but not essential.
