As a pivotal member of the Business Development team, the Social Media and Content Manager plays a crucial role in shaping PXO's external and internal media presence. They are tasked with crafting compelling campaigns that spotlight PXO's services, values, and talented individuals. This role involves curating marketing content, generating analytic reports, devising social media strategies, and fostering seamless internal communications across departments to drive PXO's brand development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Content Management: Spearheading the creation of engaging content for campaigns and events, including collaborations with PXO's talent teams.
  • Content Planning and Scheduling: Strategically planning and scheduling content releases aligned with new project launches and business updates.
  • Collaboration with Production Teams: Coordinating with production teams to ensure timely delivery of project assets.
  • Client Liaison: Engaging with clients to secure marketing asset approvals and collaborating with journalists to provide necessary assets.
  • Digital Platform Management: Curating content across digital platforms such as the website and social media channels.
  • Marketing Campaign Management: Overseeing sales and marketing campaigns, including targeted posts and content creation.
  • Event Coordination: Organizing shoot days for behind-the-scenes (BTS) and marketing assets, coordinating staff participation in industry events, and attending PXO or industry events as needed.
  • Awards and Recognition: Coordinating materials for awards to bolster PXO's industry recognition.
  • Asset Management: Maintaining a central library of assets for projects to ensure accessibility and organization.
  • Internal Communications: Managing internal media communications to foster collaboration and alignment across departments.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Client and Lead Tracking: Utilizing Salesforce to track clients and leads/bids, and updating/maintaining client information.
  • Sales Meeting Participation: Attending weekly sales meetings and updating Salesforce with the latest actions and updates.
  • Campaign Reporting: Preparing reports on new business campaigns to track effectiveness.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Monitoring and reporting on competitor activities on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Previous experience in the VFX/Animation industry preferred.
  • Strong grasp of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Previous experience with content management systems and automated marketing software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of digital and social marketing best practices.
