We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Impact Specialist to join our growing Communications function, based in the A&O Shearman Belfast office.

What you will do
The Social Impact Specialist will support the Communications Manager in delivering social impact initiatives in Belfast.
This role involves:
- Leading on the delivery of fundraising and awareness initiatives in alignment with global and local priorities.
- Cultivating and managing relationships with our Global Social Impact Partner and local charity partner, acting as a key liaison to ensure mutual goals are met and opportunities for collaboration are maximised.
- Administering donation platforms, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and transparency.
- Monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes, supporting charities in completing impact assessments.
- Assisting with the development of engaging communications across multiple channels to drive staff awareness and participation.
- Leading the design and delivery of a month-long programme of sustainability-focused activities, workshops, and events.
- Identifying and developing volunteering opportunities in collaboration with charity partners, ensuring alignment with organisational expertise and community needs.
- Managing the volunteering portal, promoting opportunities and driving participation.
What you will have
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, engage, and motivate across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong capabilities in data handling, analysis, and efficient data management.
- Demonstrated success in planning, promoting and managing events.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who also thrives when working independently, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.
- Detail-orientated, with exceptional organisational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience of working in a similar role in a professional services environment, or within a charity or funding body is desirable.
