Overview

The best social creative doesn't interrupt culture; it becomes part of it. The Creative Director at Iris leads the creative vision for social, setting a standard that is platform-smart, culturally alive, and built to drive real impact. You understand that Participate or Perish demands a different kind of creativity, one rooted in participation, not production. You inspire a team to make work worth talking about, and you make sure Iris is known for it.

Responsibilities

  • Creative vision: Own the creative direction for social across a portfolio of world-class accounts.
  • Creative leadership: Build a team that's ambitious, curious, and genuinely plugged into culture. Develop talent, set standards, and create the conditions for the best work of people's careers.
  • Influencer creative: Write briefs that give creators real latitude. The goal is content that feels like theirs, and travels because of it.
  • Campaign concepting: Lead ideas from brief to execution. Big enough to travel, sharp enough to land, brave enough to matter.
  • New business: Bring your creative vision into pitches for some of the most sought-after briefs in the industry. Help us win the work worth doing.
  • Client partnership: Build the senior relationships that get bold ideas made. Sell with conviction, handle challenge without diluting the work.
  • Quality control: Hold the bar across everything.
    Reactive content to campaign hero pieces. Talkability lives in the details.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, account and production. Good ideas need good process behind them.

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of social platforms, formats and behaviours across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging channels
  • Proven ability to lead creative teams and deliver culturally relevant, high-performing social work
  • Strong conceptual thinker with a track record of ideas that travel across platforms and audiences
  • Experience shaping and winning new business, turning creative vision into compelling pitches
  • Background working on major brands in fast-paced environments, balancing speed with high creative standards
  • Strong experience collaborating with influencers and creators to produce authentic, platform-native content
  • Confident presenter, able to sell ideas to senior clients and stakeholders with clarity and conviction
