Yoto Marketing Team:

We are a tight knit, but fast growing, team with experience across a wide range of sectors and disciplines. Some of us are generalists, and some specialists. We do most work in-house, but also use agencies where needed. As a team, and also as a company, we are customer obsessed. Everyone in the team is passionate about building and nurturing our community.

The Yoto Marketing team is spread across the UK, US and France and we look after a lot including brand strategy, customer acquisition, retention, campaign development, copywriting, retail marketing, communications, social and community. We work closely with most other teams, but particularly our friends in the product, creative and content teams.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the PR Manager, and assisting the wider team, no two days will be the same. It's a really exciting time to join Yoto, but we are moving fast, and there is a lot to achieve. As such, there's no definitive list of responsibilities, however the following non-exhaustive list will give an idea of what you'll be doing:

  • Management of all UK&I social channels, and co-management of global channels, including Facebook, Yoto Community on Facebook, Yoto Space, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter and others that are selected to work with
  • You'll be one of our key brand gatekeepers, responsible for content creation, whether that is created in-house or by working with our loyal tribe of Yoto families on best in class UGC. Working with the Creative & Brand teams to develop social content, specific to campaigns and channels is a must, so a strong creative mind, eye for detail, and understanding of design is crucial
  • Owning the content calendar for UK&I social channels
  • Regular reporting on sentiment, SOV, engagement, competitor analysis and keeping an eye on what's new in the world of social so our performance is competitive
  • Developing strategic partnerships with like minded brands and organisations
  • Developing relationships and running campaigns with talent, influencers and their agents/representatives
  • When required, support Customer Happiness team to respond to customers across social channels
  • Inputting into integrated marketing campaigns in relation to social and copy
  • Posting/scheduling integrated marketing campaigns on owned social channels
  • Supporting the wider team to write engaging blogs and other copy

What you'll bring:

This role would be perfect for a candidate with 3 or more years of experience in a social media or influencer role. Here's what you will need:

  • Be super organised
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Passionate about social media and keeping up to date with latest digital trends and opportunities
  • Strong storyteller & content creator who lives & breathes quality social content
  • Knowledge and experience of building social media content and audiences
  • Exceptional copywriting and community management skills
  • Knowledge of social insights and experience using social listening and reporting tools
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Planning skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to present data and report back on KPIs and performance tracking
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and partners
  • An understanding of marketing children's products/marketing to parents
  • IT Skills including Excel & Powerpoint

Bonus point for:

  • Visual and photographic skills
  • Video creativity skills
  • Good use of creative design packages, Photoshop, Canva, InDesign or equivalent

Salary: based on experience £38,000 to £42,000
