They offer credible and compelling advice to business managers on how to manage their team. HR Partners collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence like Benefits, Compensation and Employee Relations who support our employees across the region. Thanks to their front-line visibility across businesses, HR Partners are in a position to spot trends, identify emerging needs and address them at scale, in collaboration with the appropriate business and HR stakeholders.
This role can be based out of our corporates office locations - LHR35, LUX12, or BCN15.
Key job responsibilities
The Senior HR Partner (Sr. HRP) collaborates with business managers to support them with sensitive and often complex employee issues including disciplinary, performance improvement and grievance processes. The Sr. HRP acts as an influential partner in helping managers with talent and performance management processes, people development, HR policies and implementation of organizational changes. Sr. HRPs drive scalable process improvements and standardization at a country, regional as well as global level. The Sr. HRP is expected to work with global HRPs and COE functions to drive WW HRP goals and initiatives.
• Performance Management: Work with people managers through performance management cases, including process steps, coaching and guidance to deliver fair and high-bar performance management experience.
• Employee Relations: Support relevant ER processes, including disciplinary & performance improvement programs. Consult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation. Manage ER cases, in coordination with the Employee Relations and Legal Teams.
• People Development: Enable the success of new & experienced managers by leveraging and improving existing training content and collaborating with the central Talent Development teams to anticipate and address emerging needs. Support people managers with career conversations, Development Plans/Career Growth Plans and other development initiatives.
• HR Generalist: Act as stewards of the employee experience and Amazon's culture. Act as subject matter expert for people tools, processes, programs or projects. Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate.
• Change Management: Support managers and HR leaders to drive improvements in employee experience and change initiatives.
This role is performed through an innovative customer relationship management tool, which enables this team to be uniquely positioned to identify trending issues and themes through data and inform consequent decisions and initiatives.
A day in the life
You'll be based in one of our corporate office locations in London, Luxembourg or Barcelona. You'll work flexibly with colleagues in different areas of the business to work towards making Amazon Earth's best employer, from carrying out performance management, manager coaching and case management.
No two days are the same as an HR Partner. You'll help create a positive atmosphere for your employees and managers and will assist in resolving complex queries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A degree
Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
Relevant experience in analysing data and creating reports for leadership
Relevant experience in working with and protecting confidential and sensitive HR information

Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
