SMA DevSecOps Engineering Manager

What you'll do
The Global Vodafone Cyber Security team to ensure that Vodafone safeguards it's customers and critical systems against Cyber Attack. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Security Monitoring and Analytics domain who are responsible for globally running SOC tooling across the entire Vodafone footprint. We are just embarking on a large scale Data modernization programme, where the successful candidate will play a critical role in the detection, analysis, and mitigation of Cyber security threats to Vodafone and its customers, whilst at the same time leveraging cutting edge technologies surrounded by a really great high performing team.
Objectives
- Ensure that the SMA DevOps team are delivering effectively and follow DevOps Best Practices
- Manage DevSecOps processes and associated tooling, ensuring the team meets Vodafone best practices for development and security
- Ensure that high-quality code is delivered, with effective metrics, review processes and retrospectives.
Responsibilities
- Line Management Responsibility for the high-performing SMA DevSecOps Team
- Responsible for all SMA DevOps tooling, including Git, Nexus, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
- Streamline and own CI/CD & automation processes
- Ensure that definitions of done for delivery are well defined and met
Who you are
Skills and Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or Degree Qualified in Computer Science, Cyber and/or Engineering Discipline
- Proven track record of running/line managing a Software Development team in an Agile environment using CI/CD
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of CI/CD, system testing, test-driven development, release management to Production Environments
- Some knowledge of Python, JSON, IaC, Bash and other scripting languages
- Working knowledge of automation processes tooling
