Job Description
Our Account Management Manager effectively manages the relationship and business strategies for large, complex assigned accounts (cross-regional, global, etc.) to grow our share of the customer's wallet and achieve sales goals. Next to this he or she also strengthens existing customer relationships and builds additional relationships within accounts.
Responsibilities
As an Account Management Manager you have following responsibilities.
- Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with assigned accounts by understanding their business, industry, and evolving needs, and identifying opportunities for expansion. Identify current and emerging customer needs.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, grow market share, and drive new business opportunities within existing customers.
- Effectively position and sell Atmus products and solutions by translating data and insights into clear customer value.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts, including pricing, terms, and resolution of any customer-related issues or escalations.
- Develop growth or new business opportunities jointly with accounts and supports initiatives to increase customer value. Grow Atmus' share of the customer's business.
- Lead, manage and coordinate communication and interfaces with the customer at all levels. Assure good communication, coordination and alignment across sales roles, supports cross-business account development strategies, and works with key internal stakeholders to achieve results.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring strong communication and alignment with internal stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and a deep understanding of customer and market trends.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and drive initiatives that strengthen relationships, improve customer loyalty, and increase long-term value.
- Apply structured sales processes and CRM tools to track performance, report results, and continuously optimize sales effectiveness.
- Support and mentor team members (if applicable), contributing to a high-performing and continuously improving sales organization.
- Delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs. Identifies department issues, problems, and opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for you if you meet the following qualifications
- A College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
- Significant level of relevant work experience is required, including previous customer and/or product experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Experience in purchasing and/or commercial contract negotiation is considered an asset.
- This position may require licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.
