SITS Senior Analyst Programmer (HESA)
The University of Surrey is seeking a SITS Senior Analyst Programmer responsible for supporting the HESA DF area of the student administration system.
Assisting the process owners with the implementation of HESA Data Futures through SITS, you will maintain the HESA instance of SITS. Strong understanding of e-Vision and HESA tables in SITS is required.

Role & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting and developing other areas of the SITS system as directed by the Student Systems Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities include :
- Maintain and support SITS ensuring that all components of the system function reliably in all key operational areas from enquiries and admissions to fee generation, examination timetables, assessment, degree results, HESA returns and management reporting.
- Attend relevant meetings, e.g. SITS User Group, working group, to review and improve the university's statutory reporting functionality.
- Support all users of the SITS application, including via the production of on-line documentation. This involves being in daily contact with users dealing with a wide variety of problems.
- Stay up to date with changes and development in relation to Data Futures and lead on communications relating to these changes as appropriate.
- Manage account security (Read/Write/Delete) in order that users are able to access the screens they require and update the data appropriate to their needs and training.
- With other members of the team, manage upgrades of the SITS software. This entails testing, writing user documentation, and arranging training specifically for HESA Data Future implementation.
