Electrical Site Supervisor - Iver & Reading

Our client, driven by our continued growth, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our dynamic Power division. You'll play a key role in our SSEN New Connections framework, overseeing multiple projects along the M4 corridor.

Lead and Deliver:
Supervise Electrical Crews: Provide direct leadership and ensure the safe, efficient execution of assigned electrical tasks across various crews, including substation electrical installations, LV, 11kV, and 33kV cable terminations, jointing, and testing.
Project Management: Oversee the on-site electrical aspects of projects, from initial handover to successful completion, meeting strict deadlines and adhering to budget constraints.

Technical Expertise and Safety:
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E) to ensure all work is completed according to specifications.
Safety Champion: Prioritize crew safety by enforcing all electrical safety regulations, maintaining a hazard-free environment, and ensuring the availability of appropriate PPE and tools.

Communication and Collaboration:
Proactive Liaison: Foster effective communication with project managers, engineers, civils crews, other trades, and clients to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall construction plan.
Clear Instructions: Conduct thorough pre-job briefings and toolbox talks for crews, ensuring a clear understanding of tasks, safety protocols, and potential hazards.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor on LV, 11kV, and 33kV electrical distribution projects.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical installations on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Experience working for a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or a DNO framework partner is a plus.
Familiarity with relevant electrical test equipment and procedures (desirable).
