Site Manager - Rail & Infrastructure

Location: North West

Salary: Competitive + vehicle

Contract Type: Permanent

What you`ll do:

We`re looking for a motivated Site Manager to strengthen our Rail & Infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role, with a balance of working from home and being out on-site, giving you the best of both worlds.

In this key position, you`ll work closely with the Contracts Manager to deliver a variety of arboriculture projects across the North. From structure clearances to larger project works, your arboriculture knowledge will be essential in keeping our projects safe, efficient and on track.

What you`ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Carrying out regular site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are met
  • Managing varying workloads and providing support and guidance to field-based teams.
  • Pricing work, scoping sites, and developing detailed task briefs.
  • Using online work trackers and IT systems to plan, monitor and report on progress.
  • Engaging with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout.
  • Planning possessions effectively to minimise disruption and maximise productivity.
  • Overseeing project delivery, resolving issues promptly to keep work moving smoothly.

What we`re looking for:

We`re especially keen to hear from experienced Site Managers with:

- Arboriculture background

- SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid + F, and COSS qualifications.

- Strong IT skills with confidence using digital trackers, reporting tools and systems

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing workloads.

- A proactive approach to safety, leadership, and client care.
