Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for a Site Manager role with a Tier 1 contractor working on UKPN substation projects across the South East of England.

They are looking for a candidates with strong civils experience. Substation or utilities experience would be ideal. Candidates must have SMSTS, EUSR and First Aid qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Site Management of staff and Subcontractors
  • Producing safety documentation and briefing where required, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits and Toolbox Talks
  • Quality Inspections and completion of Inspection and Test Plans
  • Ordering Plant and Materials
  • Collation of documents and As Built Records
  • Cost and Programme Management
  • Management and Supervision of Temporary Works
  • Record Keeping and report writing.
  • Client liaison and coordination/interface
  • Perform any other duties appropriate for the role.

Experience/qualifications:

  • Civil engineering experience, utilities or substation experience would be preferably
  • Recognised civil qualifications eg. trade background or degree/HNC/HND
  • CSCS/EUSR card
  • Temporary Works Co Ordinator
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • IT Literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability present to mixed audiences
  • Streetworks qualification
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Driving License
